Price Information
Our fixed fee for most visa and settlement applications starts at £450 plus VAT. Appeals and more complex applications are quoted in writing after a first conversation.
A fixed fee, agreed in writing before we start, covering the work listed below.
Home Office application fees and the immigration health surcharge are paid on top and go straight to the Home Office. We tell you the amounts before you apply. Translations and certified copies are charged at cost if you need them.
VAT at 20% is added to our fee. Home Office fees carry no VAT.
Included: a review of your situation and documents, preparing and checking the application, dealing with Home Office requests and updates until a decision. Not included: appeals, administrative reviews and applications for anyone not named in your quote.
Preparing the application usually takes two to four weeks once we have your documents. The Home Office then decides in line with its published service standards, which vary by route.
Our immigration solicitor, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Every application is checked before it is submitted.
Every claim is different, so we give you a written estimate after a first conversation, with the cost of each stage set out. A claim that settles early costs much less than one that goes to a full hearing.
Hourly rates or a fixed fee for each stage, agreed in writing before work starts. For settlement agreements, your employer usually pays some or all of our fee.
Barristers fees for a hearing and any expert reports are extra and agreed with you first. We tell you about any tribunal fees that apply when we give our estimate.
VAT at 20% is added to our fees, and to barristers fees where the barrister is VAT registered.
Included at each stage: advice on the strength of your claim, ACAS early conciliation, preparing the claim, negotiating with your employer and preparing for the hearing. Not included: appeals and enforcing an award.
ACAS early conciliation usually takes up to six weeks. If the claim goes ahead, many settle within a few months. A claim that goes to a full hearing can take a year or more.
Our employment solicitor, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
We give you a written estimate after a first conversation, with the cost of each stage set out. Recovering a debt the other side does not dispute costs much less than a defended claim that goes to trial.
Hourly rates, or fixed fees for single stages such as a letter before action, agreed in writing before work starts.
Court issue fees, which depend on the amount claimed, hearing fees, enforcement fees and any barristers fees. We tell you each one before it is paid.
VAT at 20% is added to our fees. Court fees carry no VAT.
Included: reviewing your documents, the letter before action, issuing the claim and dealing with any defence. Not included: enforcement after judgment unless agreed, and appeals.
A letter before action gives the other side 14 to 30 days to reply, or 30 days where they are an individual. An undefended claim can reach judgment a few weeks after it is issued. A defended claim usually takes many months.
